A Life Economy is the concept of an economic system designed to help everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive, while ensuring we as a global society allow for life and happiness to thrive on the planet. Life economy is a purpose driven economic system, where the production, distribution or trade, and consumption of goods and services are for the purpose of helping life and happiness to thrive. At the heart of the life economy is nature, as it is the source of life, therefore the primary goal of the life economy is to ensure that nature can continue to provide life resources for thousands to millions of years. The principle currency of the life economy is wise ideas. The people and groups with the wisest ideas for helping life and happiness to thrive have priority access to limited goods and services. The long-term goal of the life economy is to accurately monitor, manage, and forecast resources; safely and fairly distribute resources; create an abundance of human needs; give people autonomy or freedom to live their dreams; develop local and global security; and produce zero products and services.
We are striving to build a framework that Earth Citizens can use to guide various aspects of living life and collaborating to help life and happiness to thrive.
