Service over Work

Service over Work emphasizes viewing our efforts to provide for ourselves and others as service over work. Servicing in the areas of our interests provides us the greatest opportunity to help others without feeling the need for rewards and makes it much easier to freely choose to serve others over having to work for others.

“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them.” - Dalai Lama (1935 - present)

“You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.” -  Woodrow Wilson (1856 - 1924)
