Individual and Group Choices

Citizenship is an individual choice, but also can be viewed as a groups choice to help life and happiness to thrive.

“A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead (1901 - 1978)

The Power of Choice Impacts the World

At the core of Earth Citizenship is the individual or you deciding to help life and happiness to thrive, not only for others or the world, but more importantly in your own life. Once we decide this is our primary purpose in life then naturally like a drop of water falling into a pond our choice will ripple out into the groups we spend our precious times with like our families, friends, communities or organizations to align to the same purpose. Overtime, those groups can also choose that their purpose is to help life and happiness to thrive. Ultimately, this one choice made by millions or billions of people forms the tribe of Earth Citizens that can change the world into the world of our dreams.

7 Types of Citizenship

There are 7 different types of citizenship: individual, family, tribe (i.e. friends, band, earth citizens), organization (i.e. non-profit, company, government), region (i.e. community, water shed, nation), sector (i.e. art, energy, culture) and universe.
