zRank, where z stands for zero, is "one" number for measuring the social, economic, and environmental impact an idea, person or group has on life and happiness. The goal of zRank is to help us focus on the most important ideas and establish a quick and easy way for people to determine the wisest ideas, people and groups to support socially, economically and politically. Those ideas, people or groups with the highest positive zRank will be those that the public and experts agree have the greatest potential positive impact on life and happiness; those with a negative value have a converse impact.

An Earth Citizen, Type 1 Civilization, is the concept of a society that has the technological capabilities to generate energy equivalent to amount of solar energy absorbed on the planet, while managing that energy and other advanced technologies in an ethically and sustainably way so that everyone has access to an abundance of resources, while ensuring life and happiness thrives on the planet.
